To further promote personnel exchanges between China and foreign countries, China has decided to implement the visa free policy to 15 countries including France, Germany, Italy, Netherland, Spain, Malaysia, Switzerland, Ireland, Hungary, Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, Poland, Australia and New zealand until December 31, 2025. Individuals holding ordinary passports from the aforementioned countries who come to China for business, tourism, visiting relatives and friends, and transit for no more than 15 days are eligible for visa free entry. Individuals who do not meet the visa free requirements must obtain a visa for entry to China before entering the country.
